Colour anodising

Anodising in blue, gold, grey, red, purple and other colours – corrosion protection with an attractive finish.

Anodic oxidation (anodising) offers attractive design options combined with excellent corrosion protection. In practice, layer thicknesses between 10 and 25 µm are used. In principle, all common aluminium alloys can be anodised.

Where visual requirements are high, an anodising-grade alloy should be used wherever possible. With natural anodising, alloys containing copper may show a yellowish tint and components with a high silicon content a grey tint. This should be taken into account when choosing the material.
