ELECTROLESS NICKEL
In electroless nickel plating, nickel is deposited from a solution without the need for an external electrical current. The process relies on the reduction of nickel ions by a reducing agent, ensuring an even coating, even on complex geometries.
A key advantage of this method is that various properties can be achieved on nickel-phosphorus coatings through special treatments. Functional electroless nickel coatings can, for example, extend the durability of components that are simultaneously exposed to high levels of abrasion and corrosion.
